Intro Plus

Intro Plus is Rawhyde’s bridge between our foundational Intro to Adventure course and the more demanding challenges found in our upper level training programs. It is designed for riders who want additional practice, more coaching, and a deeper understanding of core off road techniques before progressing into true intermediate terrain. This course is especially valuable for riders who feel they would benefit from more repetition, more feedback, or more time getting comfortable with the capabilities of a full size adventure motorcycle.

The program reinforces all of the essential skills taught in Intro to Adventure while introducing a series of slightly more advanced drills intended to build confidence, control, and situational awareness. Riders continue to refine body positioning, balance, clutch and throttle coordination, and braking on loose surfaces. From there, the class begins incorporating real world elements such as mild ruts, tighter and more controlled turns, uneven terrain transitions, off camber surfaces, and manageable climbs and descents. Each exercise is carefully structured to help riders progress at a comfortable pace, ensuring they feel supported while being gently pushed beyond their comfort zones.

Our Rawhyde instructors guide you step by step with clear demonstrations and individualized coaching. The focus remains on developing consistency and gaining confidence when terrain becomes less predictable. You’ll learn how to evaluate obstacles, choose better lines, carry appropriate momentum, and react smoothly when things don’t go perfectly — all critical skills for safe and enjoyable adventure riding. The additional practice time also helps riders become more relaxed on the motorcycle, reducing fatigue and improving overall control.

Intro Plus is ideal for anyone who wants to strengthen foundational skills before stepping into the more technical challenges of our Next Step course. Whether you’re fresh out of Intro to Adventure or returning for a skills refresh, this course gives you the extra preparation needed to advance safely and confidently into higher level off road riding.

Payment Policy
A $500 deposit is required to secure your booking for any event scheduled more than 14 days in advance. For bookings made within 14 days of the event, payment in full is required at the time of booking.

By placing a deposit, you authorize Rawhyde Adventures to automatically charge the remaining balance to the same card on file 14 days prior to your scheduled event. No additional action is required on your part. If you prefer to use a different payment method, you must contact us prior to the 14-day cutoff.
