Next Step & Base Camp Alpha

The Next Step + Base Camp Alpha Package is built for riders who want to strengthen their technical skills and then immediately put them into practice in a real backcountry environment. You’ll start with Next Step, Rawhyde’s advanced training program that builds on the fundamentals from Intro to Adventure. This course pushes your abilities further with structured drills focused on balance, traction management, slow-speed precision, advanced braking control, off-camber riding, ruts, climbs, descents, and navigating more complex terrain features. It’s designed to refine your technique and increase your confidence so you’re fully prepared for what comes next.

Right after training, you’ll head out on the Base Camp Alpha Tour, a guided overnight adventure that takes you deep into remote terrain where the lessons from Next Step become real. You’ll ride through fire roads, forest trails, sandy sections, rocks, and varied elevation — all with the support of experienced Rawhyde staff. Along the way, your instructors continue offering real-time coaching, helping you translate classroom skills into instinctive riding decisions. The tour includes a fully supported campsite with great food, camaraderie, and a true sense of immersion in the adventure lifestyle.

Combining these two experiences gives you a powerful progression path: focused skill development followed by immediate application in the field. It’s the ideal package for riders ready to move beyond controlled drills and experience what off-road riding is really about.

Payment Policy
A $500 deposit is required to secure your booking for any event scheduled more than 14 days in advance. For bookings made within 14 days of the event, payment in full is required at the time of booking.

By placing a deposit, you authorize Rawhyde Adventures to automatically charge the remaining balance to the same card on file 14 days prior to your scheduled event. No additional action is required on your part. If you prefer to use a different payment method, you must contact us prior to the 14-day cutoff.
