Intro to Adventure - CO

Intro to Adventure is Rawhyde’s foundational off-road training program, tailored for riders training in Colorado who are new to adventure riding or want to build a strong, confident base before exploring more demanding terrain. This course focuses on the essential skills every ADV rider needs to comfortably handle the types of surfaces commonly found in Colorado’s backcountry, including fire roads, graded dirt, and scenic forest routes.

Throughout the program, riders develop core competencies that translate directly to real-world riding in the Rockies. Instruction covers proper body positioning, throttle and clutch control, balance and traction management, slow-speed maneuvering, and controlled braking on loose surfaces. Riders also learn how to confidently manage a full-size adventure motorcycle across uneven terrain, varying elevations, and changing conditions.

Skills are introduced in a clear, progressive manner, with plenty of time for repetition and refinement. Rawhyde’s experienced instructors provide personalized coaching, ensuring each rider gains confidence at their own pace while building techniques that can be applied immediately beyond the training environment. Set against Colorado’s diverse terrain, Intro to Adventure provides a solid foundation for safe, enjoyable, and confident adventure riding throughout the region and beyond.

Payment Policy
A $500 deposit is required to secure your booking for any event scheduled more than 14 days in advance. For bookings made within 14 days of the event, payment in full is required at the time of booking.

By placing a deposit, you authorize Rawhyde Adventures to automatically charge the remaining balance to the same card on file 14 days prior to your scheduled event. No additional action is required on your part. If you prefer to use a different payment method, you must contact us prior to the 14-day cutoff.
